a litigious intrusion
a vertiginous pace
an accident of life, combined
natural forms
was it really the wagon wheel and wet laundry that led him
to write of atomism?
just one last dance, virtuous soul
your eyes went shooting through my heart
to wake my dormant thought
look now, i’m desperate and distraught
with love that tears my life apart
[lucretius, 99-55 BC]
just one last dance in the sun’s beams (putrid head!)
just an exchange of invisible blows (infinite dread!)
and a virtuous soul
my desire to return careens
a man and his flawless love ruled over it all
signals of life
fortified eyes
i’ll follow strides
and rewrite time
just one last dance exchange
virtuous soul, return
cracked horizon
sight into the darkest rings
myopic, no logic
profound loss
hard tissues degrading throughout these fragile shards
ocular moves no longer respond
complete putrefaction
panacea, burst with poison
i just cannot detach
i am destined to be killed
stretching to death may just be my druthers
next to this frivolous girl of gold

A beautiful piece of work, can't stop spinning it. Explores multiple genres, multiple emotions, and tells a fantastic story from beginning to end. Arecibo (once you click with the story) brings a tear to the eye. One of my favorite albums I've discovered this year Dawn

I don’t usually go out much for metalcore/deathcore but this album would easily make my shortlist. Emotionally captivating with great storytelling and an overall solid musical performance. 7/10 RJ
The Australian prog band channels the chaos of climate change into powerful songs that juxtapose beauty with unpredictable brutality. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 28, 2021
